Admission Details

Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM, conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala.

Admission to B.Sc. Computer Science(Hons.) Data Analytics programme of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Government norms of admission requirements will be observed in the case of SC/ST and other reserved categories. Additional weightage for students opted Mathematics/Computer Science (best of two) at Plus Two will be considered as per the M.G. University norms for admissions. Bonus marks for NCC, NSS, Ex-servicemen applicants and widows and children of Jawans and Ex-servicemen shall be awarded as per the M.G. University norms for admissions.

Applicants will be called for a personal interview and the date of interview will be intimated via Email.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission to the Degree Programme shall be open to candidates who have passed the Plus Two or equivalent examination recognized by M.G. University in science stream with Mathematics/Computer Science as compulsory subjects.

Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply for admission provided they shall produce the proof of qualification on or before the date of admission by the College.
