Prospective Indian students will be selected on the basis of educational qualifications and achievements, professional experience relevant to the field of public health. A personal/telephonic interview will be arranged for the candidate followed by which verification of original documents will be done. A written test will also be conducted if deemed necessary. Selection of overseas students will be based on educational qualifications, professional experience, eligibility as assessed by the sponsoring organizations and a telephonic interview. Whereever applicable, students will have to provide certification for proficiency in English at the time of selection.

The General category: Candidate should have passed Undergraduate from any university with a minimum of 50% marks. 

• The SC, ST, OBC and CAT – I Candidate: Candidate should have passed Undergraduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 40% marks (or equivalent grades where grades are used at under graduation level).

A candidate who has passed any Graduate in Health Sciences- MBBS, BDS, BVSc, BAMS, BUMS, BSc (Nursing), PBB.Sc (Nursing), BPT, B.Pharma, BPH (3 years), Paramedical Sciences (B.Sc- MLT, B.Sc A&OTT, BSc-MIT, etc, BSc-Biomedical, Veterinary Sciences, Natural Sciences (Any life science), Social Sciences and Social Work, Engineering including Environmental Engineering, Management or any other degree equivalent thereto, from a recognized Indian University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
