a. For the candidate of Maharashtra State

In addition to the educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra state, as well as outside of Maharashtra state, are required to appear for JEE, MHT-CET to be eligible for admission through the Centralized Admission Process ( CAP).

b. For the candidate willing to take admission under the Management Quota

Candidates from Maharashtra State or as well as outside of Maharashtra State, having educational qualifications as specified by AICTE/DTE/ Government of Maharashtra are eligible for admission under Management quota seats. They should appear for the JEE, MHT-CET conducted by the competent authority.

c. For Diploma Candidate: (First Year)

After admission of candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in point a & b above, if vacancies exist after the cutoff date declared by the concerned Government Authority, the principal may admit diploma completed candidates who have passed diploma course in Engineering/technology with minimum of 45% marks for open category and 40% reserve category from Polytechnic colleges affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnic in Maharashtra state. The Candidate Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;

II. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject.
