Admission is based on the Combined Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by I.C.A.R. V.C.I. at All India, level and 85% of the total seats are filled by Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board, Ranchi.

Admission to B.Sc. (Ag.) Hons is done through a competitive entrance examination for which the application has to be submitted to the Coordinator, JET/Pre-PG, SK Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner/MPUAT, Udaipur.

A candidate must have passed the Intermediate/10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for all undergraduate degree programs. However, the candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are also eligible for admission.

The minimum eligibility for a candidate to appear in this test is that the candidate must have passed 12th of the 10+2 (Academic) scheme of examination with Agriculture / Biology / Mathematics group of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or an Examination declared equivalent to it with prescribed percentage of marks mentioned in the admission notification.
