Admission is based on the Combined Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by I.C.A.R. V.C.I. at All India, level and 85% of the total seats are filled by Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board, Ranchi.

A candidate must have passed the Intermediate/10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for all undergraduate degree programs. However, the candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are also eligible for admission.

• Candidates for admission to different Bachelor’s Degree Programs of this University shall be selected through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination conducted each year by the Govt. of Bihar for 85% of the seats. For 15% of the seats, selection would be made by the All India Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR.
• The candidate should have a minimum qualification shall be 10+2 or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agriculture/ Math from a recognized Indian Board / University.
