    Eligibility Criteria

    Seeking admission into a 3-year law course qualifications needed are only 12th and a three-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into a 3-year law course.

    The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).

    The Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.

    • To be eligible for the three-year law programme at VMLS, you need to complete your bachelor's degree in any stream from a university or an equivalent institution recognized as deemed to be a university or from a foreign university declared as equivalent to an Indian degree by a competent authority. Candidates who are about to proceed for their final degree exams can also apply, however, they must have their degrees with them during the admission process.

      Also, to be eligible for admission, you must have not less than 45% marks for General category students. For OBC, the minimum required marks are 42%, and for SC/ST candidates it is 40%.
