• The admissions to UMLA shall be based on merit in the Maharashtra State Common Law Entrance Test (MHCET-Law).

(10+2) by the Savitribai Phule Pune University or any other recognized University with a minimum 45% aggregate is eligible to apply for admission to the Course, For the SC/ST category students,5% is relaxed for admissions vide Savitribai Phule Pune University

A candidate passing the H.S.C. (10+2) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board Of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, with a minimum of 45% marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mumbai with the minimum prescribed marks is eligible for admission to the First Year of Five Year Law Course. The above percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and 3% for the OBC, categories recognized as such by the Government of Maharashtra.
