Admission shall be on merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of State Government/UT administration and the University.

A Candidate with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and / or in the Master Degree in Sciences /
Social Sciences / Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and
Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the
programme.

Candidates seeking admission in various streams shall follow the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

• B. Ed. (Arts Stream) – Candidate must have done B.A. / M.A.
• B. Ed. (Science Stream – Candidate must have done B. Sc. / M. Sc. / B. Tech. / M. Tech.
• B. Ed. (Commerce Stream – Candidate must have done B. Com. / M. Com.

Christian Candidates: Christian candidates are also required to fulfill the Eligibility Criteria and go through the Entrance Test to get admission
against reserved seats. They will also be required to go through a Special test on Biblical Knowledge which will be one
of the factors needed to qualify for Admission against reserved seats. Such Candidates must enclose the following:
Church Sponsored Letter issued by the Presbyter In-charge of the Church stating that the Candidate and his or her
Parents are permanent members in good standing, the Name, Address and Denomination of the recognized Church
they belong to countersigned by the Bishop of the Diocese and a Photocopy of Baptism Certificate.
