Admission Details
Admission will be done through JEE (Main). Eligible candidates will fill the application form of JEE (Main). Subsequently counseling will be done by JoSAA/CSAB.
The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be based on a valid GATE score (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers) and personal interview (30 marks). Merit list will be prepared based on valid GATE score multiplied by 0.7 (70% weightage of GATE score) and will be added to marks obtained in the personal interview.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics
as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/
Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
B. E./B. Tech. in Food Science / Food science and Technology/ Food Technology and Management / Food Technology / Food Process Engineering/ Food Engineering / Dairy Engineering / Dairy Technology / Agricultural & Food Engineering/ Dairy and Food Engineering / OR M.Sc. Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Science/ Dairy Technology/ Foods & Nutrition From a recognized University/ Institute. Deficiency courses would be offered to the applicants with above prescribed non-food Degrees.
