Seats are divided into two categories :

1. Category A seats – 70%        

2. Category B seats – 30%

Category A seats are filled by the ICET Convenor and Category B seats by the Institution following the guidelines stipulated by the State Government.

ALIET is offering a PG program in MBA. As per APSCHE norms, 70% of seats are filled through centralized admissions organized by the convener, AP ICET. The remaining 30% B category seats are filled by the institution following the same guidelines as per B-category admissions into B. Tech.Tech.

• The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2+3) with Mathematics as one of the subjects in SSC.
• Rank in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the State Agency.
• For B Category, not less than 50% of aggregate marks or CGPA equivalent to "5" on a scale of "10" in the qualifying examination.

The Candidate Should have passed a Bachelor's Degree of a minimum 3-year duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to a reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
