The candidate must have passed 10+2, or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology with a minimum of 50% mark taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination ie. Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.) with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
