Admission in Terna Engineering College are based on merit in MHT CET.
All college admissions are done as per the rules and regulations of Competent Authority, Directorate of Technical Education/State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra through Centralized Admission Process.
For First Year of Engineering Degree courses The Competent Authority, the Commissioner of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, shall be the authority for Centralized Admission Process. 2. The Admissions for First Year Engineering Degree Courses will be done through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for following categories a. Maharashtra State Seats b. All India Seats c. Respective Minority Seats
To become eligible, it is mandatory for all aspiring candidates to register by filling Online Application Form for following Engg. Admissions. a. All category CAP seats b. Institutional Quota seats Vacant seats after completion of CAP rounds
The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2023. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive scores in JEE Main(B.E/B.Tech) over the candidates who obtained non-zero scores in MHT-CET 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
For Maharashtra State Candidates:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology Technical Vocational subjects Computer Science Information Technology Informatics Practices Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero scores in MHT-CET 2023. Or
(ii) Passed a minimum 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
For All India Candidates:
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.
(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology Technical Vocational subjects Computer Science Information Technology Informatics Practices Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain non zero positive scores in JEE Main (B.E/B.Tech) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2023. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive scores in JEE Main(B.E/B.Tech) over the candidates who obtained non-zero scores in MHT-CET 2023. Or
(ii) Passed a minimum 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
For NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National :
(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology Biology or Technical Vocational subjects Computer Science or Information Technology Informatics Practices agriculture Engineering Graphics Business Studies Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together;
(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
