Admission Process:
The seats other than those set apart to be filled by the Management will be filled by the Government as per the merit list prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala as per rules framed by the Government.
For Management quota of seats also the admission will be made from the rank list prepared on the basis of CEE conducted by the Government of Kerala.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects, with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects, are eligible for admission. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics; Physics & Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology put together are eligible for admission. However, under Management quota candidates who have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. Note : Relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination will be allowed to those candidates who belong to the communities listed under the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and OEC category, as per rules. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
