The candidates who want to seek admission in SICET have to qualify in the EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test) examination conducted by the Government of TS. To be eligible for appearing in the EAMCET examination, the student should have passed the 10 + 2 with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as their main stream and should obtain a minimum of 50%.(i.e Inter-Group subjects)

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
