Admission through Category A:

The admission will be offered through the state-level entrance exam APEAPCET. Candidates seeking admission to engineering courses should appear in the entrance exams. Qualified candidates should attend for counseling process for seat allotment. Seat allotment will be given by the Convener on a per-merit basis & as per reservation category guidelines given by the government. 10% of seats will be allotted to OC-EWS Candidates.

Admission through Category B:

Candidates can also apply for admission into B-Category seats. In this category 1st preference will be given to JEE Qualified candidates and next to EAPCET qualified & then to not qualified. Candidates should have passed intermediate or 12th standard with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and should have obtained more than 45% marks in case of OC & BC candidates & 40% in case of SC/ST Candidates.

PCET.  

The eligibility criteria for admission into UG programs are as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The sanctioned seats in each program in the college are classified into CATEGORY-A and CATEGORY-B at the 1st Year Level and Lateral Entry at the 2nd Year Level.

• Reservation Policy – Seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the Govt. approved Policy.
• Category-A Seats: 70% of seats will be filled by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as per the norms approved
• Category-B Seats: 30% of seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
• Category - Lateral Entry Seats: Lateral Entry candidates admitted into the 2nd Year directly as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
