Admission Details

Total marks: 200.

Percentage of marks secured in the Honours Examination 100, weightage will be out of 100 for marks secured in undergraduate programme and marks of Admission test will be 100 (Written 50 +G.D. 30+ Viva 20); Qualifying marks for admission is 30% for general and 27% for OBC candidates. There shall be no eligibility marks in case of SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed Bachelor degree (Honours) or
equivalent during 2017 and 2018 with 50%
marks for General, 45% marks for OBC
in (10+2+3 pattern) from any recognized
University in Social Work/Science/ Commerce/
Humanities stream.
For SC, ST & PWD Candidates:
Relaxation will be given to SC, ST & PWD
candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
The candidates from Humanities stream must
have any one of the following subjects: History,
Ancient Indian & World History, Economics,
Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology,
Political Science, Geography, Philosophy,
Religion, Journalism, Management, Education,
Agriculture & English.
Admission of integrated students of VisvaBharati:
All candidates qualified in the BSW
(Hons.) examination of Visva-Bharati, 2018 are
eligible for admission. No provisional admission
will be allowed.

Candidate must have passed B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in any subject from any UGC recognized University.
