Admission to the course shall be based on the merit in the entrance test conducted by NEET

• Have completed 17 Years of age as of the 18th October of the Admission Year.
• Be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry.
• Have passed the NEET examination or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages.
• Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together. However, for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks are 40%.
• Admission to the course shall be based on merit in the entrance test conducted by NEET.

a. The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education; Note: Where the course content is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo one year pre-professional training before admission to the dental colleges;
