Yes University of Calcutta does take admission for engineering courses through third attempt of WBJEE, however, you might face some difficulties during placements. If you're currently enrolled in any college, it would be my advice not to think of re-appearing for WBJEE again and concentrate on your engineering.

If you have any such discrepancies then there are no possibilities that you won't be allowed in the examination hall.
