You have already withdrawn your seat and you don't need to question your decision. The branch should be your choice, if you'd have preferred CSE then you should have looked for colleges where you can get it. But if you want mechanical, it is also good and bit

Hi Ananya ! Primary it seems not possible. But you know it is a very much a dependable factor. It depends on vacancy, number of students and other factors. You can get government colleges like Purulia government college, not sure about CSE and ECE but be sure of other streams.

As per previous year cut off, and as you have said your score is 42.58 your general rank must be in between 25000-35000. And talking about your sc category your rank must be in between 2000-3000. Hope these will help you.

If your compartment results will come before counseling of wbjee then it will good .
But if your compartment results is out after wbjee counseling then not possible to take admission .
All documents should be verified on the time of seat acceptance .

Actually, no exam conducting body waits for the result of compartment exam of class 12th.So, i am sorry to inform you that you need to clear your compartment exam in order to get admission in other colleges based on your jee mains marks.
