According to 2018 cut off trends the closing rank for SC candidate in Mechanical engineering was 15834 and opening rank was 13064. for civil engineering the closing rank was 13786 and opening rank was 71362 for the same.For metallurgical engineering the closing rank was 30029 the opening rank

TNEA is tamil nadu counselling conducted to call for seats in colleges affliated to anna university.
The cutoff varies in consecutive years as a result TNEA rank also changes.
It is said that the cutoff decreases this year.
Therefore the rank may also decrease.
