As of the eligibility criteria for various psus

Anything above 6.84 CGPA, would make you eligible into 99% of after graduation(after BTech) jobs/studies including PSU's in India.

6.84 was the cutoff provided by ISRO for there exams and thats the highest CGPA being demanded in 2017.

The conversion of cgpa to percentage varies from Institute to institute. For example, I completed my B.Tech in a government institute in odisha. After graduating from there, I too had this issue of conversion of cgpa to percentage. Our Institute had the following formula

the notification for PSU's (through gate) will be issued/announced by several job portals/websites like naukri.com,thegateacademy.com etc.,otherwiser you can subscribe any youtube channels which will notify about psu's jobs or install any jobs mobile apps.
