Gate2017 score :41, Session:Afternoon, Paper:EEE. Is there any chance of getting a job in any of the PSUs or private sector?

With this score chances are less to get recruited in PSUs but you can try for BSNL as there are huge number of vacancies available this year. So I would suggest you to apply for the same.

I would suggest you two options either try to get good Govt state college or get a job along with that keep preparing for Gate 2018.

As they are going to recruit through Gate for the first time so it is not that possible to predict any particular range but I would suggest you to try for BSNL JTO as there is a huge number of vacancies available so you can try your luck and score

Gate score is mainly considered for PSUs only but good gate score can give you an extra advantage in private sector but I dont think private companies provide jobs on the basis of Gate score. And can you please tell how much you are expecting?
