Im preparing for gate examination to enter into an PSU job. If I want to prepare the current affairs or not for the interview.

Yes, you need to prepare the current affairs because they may ask you as a general term and they also see how well aware you toward your subject. My suggestion is you may give at least some time for a current affair.

Hello dear aspirant

Gap years are never an issue for getting a job in PSUs,  you are definitely eligible to get a job in PSUs. You need to score good in B.Tech and you will get a job in PSU.

Physicall handicaped quota GATE Score is 50. So , PSU Called PWD Quota as well as this Score ??

Greetings Sanjib,

It totaly differs from PSU to PSUs,often there are quota for PWD and they now take the best Score for pWD quota.I would suggest you just check their respective websites just to check that they have or not if they have and if your score is they will

Why PSU companies are not noticed manufacturing engineering branch they only noticed mech, electrical etc then how manufacturing student

See here's the thing company sentiments in india are not similar to foreign company sentiments as here there's a biasness towards more overall or inclusive branches like mechanical that tend to be a bit all rounder. Where as branches such as manufacturing and production are more exclusive and

Hey there

Yes ofcourse you can give gate exam if you choose IT branch and you can get iits but generally PSUs don't have IT jobs except Bsnl etc. So less job options but you will have chances of studying higher.

Now i am 30 & UR category. Is there any psu that recruits with age limit 32 or more? If yes how many are there?

dear aspirant, as per the data collecetd by me on the web some PSU's recruiting throught GATE having age limit more than 30 years are:-

1.NLC  2.PSPCL  3.cabinet secretriat  4.HAL  5.NHPC .

there is not many psus which hires candidate from production engineering through gate.

as production engineering is the part of mechanical engineering most of the vacancies are for mechanical engineering. try to get a rank with in 100 to get psus as number of total vacancies ranges from

Yes you are eligible to get into any PSU but you need to clear the gate exam with good score and also fulfill the eligiblity criteria set by the different psu's while recruitment process.

IOCL or other PSU companies are notified only mechanical electrical etc but their is no manufacturing engineering branch then how they apply

Hello,

I am afraid that you are calling Mechanical a non-manufacturing branch.

Quite strange!

IOCL and some other PSU's are only inviting apllications from Mechanical and Electrical,because they need the graduates who can work in the industrial sector as well as in the private sector.

And there are many PSU's
