I believe that you would be eligible since you are doing a Btech Course which is the only thing necessary for Btech for more information you should confirm this with your faculty also.

With your rank and category you might get a government medical college seat in the state counselling process.

I would recommend you to attend all the rounds and to wait till mop up round to get a clear picture.

It depends on your course of interest. If you have good knowledge of your subject ( civil engineering) then you should start your preparation for psu. Or if you have interested in management then you should start your preparation for CAT, GMAT, IIFT etc 

So it's totally depends upon you.

According to some sources :
Govt doesn't want to subsidise loss making PSUs and why should. That is why this decision is being considered to close down ,sell it or merge with sub major company.

But it is still under consideration. So no official announcement has been done.

Yes definitely, the both the courses are equivalent. Both are the courses of Mechanical engineering,one with the integrated course and other is without it. But yes there may be some extra subject will be teach in the integrated course which are not done in the second course. Yes
