Prevalent news about psu is that 42 psu are going to shut down or will be privatised.what is the truth?if true ,which psus will be safe?

According to some sources :
Govt doesn't want to subsidise loss making PSUs and why should. That is why this decision is being considered to close down ,sell it or merge with sub major company.
But it is still under consideration. So no official announcement has been done.
Although if it happened many reputed PSU's like ONGC,IOCL,PowerGrid etc will not be shut down.
