If your Rank is between 250-296 then chances are really high to get a call from various PSU's but the selection depends upon how you perform in your interview as last to last year a candidate with AIR 140 (Gen) got selected but a candidate of AIR 70

Wow you have got very high percentile. You will definetly get into PSU. Infact you are eligible to apply for all the PSUs. For eg you can apply in following PSU
1. THDC
2. AAI
3. BSNL
4. NPCIL
5. BEML
6. BHEL
7. CEL
8. NTPC
9. GAIL

See the marks u have scored is enough for u to qualify the GATE exam but it is not even sufficient to get u admissioned in the good colleges for pursuing ur further studies so choosing PSUs with this marks is not a appropriate thinking.
