To take admission in IIST for B.Tech programme you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam. In order to appear for JEE Advanced exam you have to qualify for JEE Main exam first.
In order to be eligible for IIST you have to get minimum prescribed category-wise marks
1- General category- At least 20% marks in aggregate and at least 5% marks in each of three subjects.
2- Other Backward Community- Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidate- At least 18% marks in aggregate and at least 4.5% marks in each of the three subjects.
3- SC/ST/PD Candidates- At least 10% marks in aggregate and at least 2.5% marks in each of three subjects.

Apart from SNAP score, there are other factors also considered for the final admission such as GD, PI, WAT, Past Academic Performance, Diversity etc. As you said, you've been shortlisted by SCMHRD, you should try for the next rounds of the selection process with all your heart and mind. Result is not in your hands definitely but the best thing you can do is TRY.

IFIM does not accept MAT score. It accept only CAT, XAT, GMAT. Based on your score you can expect the colleges like Alliance School of Business, Bangalore, Amity Business School, Noida etc. You can also check your other chances with MAT Pathfinder Tool.

Hey,Yes, you can appear in IISER exam. Candidates can apply to IISER by one of these three channels-:• KVYP Channel: Kishore vaigyanik protsahan yojna• JEE Channel: Joint entrance examination • SCB Channel: State and Central Board channel. Students who pass their 12 boards in science stream(PCM or PCB) with marks equal or above the cut off percentage in their respective boards are eligible to apply through SCB.There is an aptitude test for SCB candidates which consists of Multiple choice questions in four subjects-: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology.All the best!
