UBS Chandigarh offers admission on the basis of CAT marks only. But for calling students for interview round is not only based on CAT marks but there are other parameters such as 10th, 12th and graduation marks, work experience.
For you to be eligible you need to have atleast 50% in 10th, 12th and graduation percentage for general, OBC category and 45% for SC/ST category. Also you need to score min of 10%marks in all the 3 sections of CAT exam for general, OBC category and 5%for SC/ST category.
After first shortlist students are called for gd and interview round. And the students who clear both the rounds are the only one who are eligible for getting admission in the college.
To get an admission in UBS you need to aim to score above 90 percentile. As high your percentile will be your probability of selection will increase significantly because final merit list is made on the basis of CAT marks with 85% weightage, 7.5% weightage to both GD and Personal Interview.

After your result you have to apply for JoSSA counselling. You had to register for JoSAA counselling by entering their JEE Main Roll number, password and security pin. If you had registered for JEE Advanced, then you had to use your JEE Advanced roll number. After the registration, you had to fill in their choices of courses.

You will have to give the entrance test for M.PHIL/PH.D. And for that you will have to meet the below provided enfilibility criteria -
ME/M.Tech in relevant field of Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or not less than 60% for General Category and for SC/ST/OBC minimum CGPA of 6.0 or not less than 55% marks at Master’s level or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Institute (OR) BE/B.Tech with valid GATE scores, also the candidates shall have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 or not less than 75% for General Category/OBC and for SC/ST minimum CGAP of 7.5 or not less than 70% at BE/B Tech level.
You have to be very good in basic topics like Introduction about self, your academics, your school and college life, lessons, and some other PI/WATtopics like:
Hard work or Smart work
Indian History
Business and economy
Social Issues
and be prepared for abstract topics like Gender Bias etc..

Communication Skills
Personality traits

It takes admission on the basis of JEE Main and on the basis of 12th class. You have to apply for the application form in order to take admission.
If you are taking admission on the basis of 12th class you should have minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one out of :- Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Informatic Practices, Multimedia & Web technology, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Graphics & English.
