Aeronautical Engineering
Dear Aspirant!
Aeronautical Engineering course can be taken by students who have completed their 10+2 with atleast 60% marks. The student selection for the course in college is based on JEE score. Some college also select students based on KVPY.
IISC Bangalore is the best among the colleges for Aersospace. Jain University has tie-up with foreign universities and offers B.Tech Aerospace Engineering with curriculum to meet requirements of Aerospace Organizations. Other available options are MVJ, Dayanand Sagar and NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology - NMIT which are also good.
There is no free seat.
Best wishes and good luck!
Hello,
Admission in Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore is based on ranks obtained in COMEDK UGET examination. Well, the previous year cutoffs for Aeronautical engineering was around 44295. The marks vs rank for previous year was different as compared to year before that. It is also difficult to predict marks as COMEDK examination isn't over yet. Please note that cutoffs and rank vs marks vary based on factors like number of students appearing for the examination, number of seats available, difficulty level of paper etc.
hello aspirant
better to choose aeronautical engineering. This engineering field deals with the creation, design, and maintenance of travel machines, including airplanes missiles, helicopters, satellites and spacecraft.
They not only create the machines but also use their knowledge of technology and aviation to create the most energy-efficient machines on the market. They utilize sophisticated technologies for defense systems, aviation and space exploration.

thank you!
Hey Ranjan Appu,
You must opt for Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 11 if you want to become an aeronautical engineer in future. Your marks in 12th will be considered later for admission along with your marks in the entrance examination i.e. JEE. So, get admission into a good school in PCM stream and study well for your boards as well as the entrance.
Good Luck.
Hi Sumati,
As both aerospace engineering and aeronautical engineering are prepared to design aircraft there is not a much difference in both.
However, aerospace engineering would likely to be combination of two specializations namely: aeronautical engineers who handle the design of aircraft and austronautical engineers who are specialised in designing spacecraft.
To do the bachelors degree in aeronautical includes specializations only on the aircrafts which are inside the boundary of earth's atmosphere. where as to do bachelors in aerospace engineering includes specializations in both.
I hope this will help you in clearing your doubt regarding both.
