College of basic science and humanities Pantnagar offers B.Tech in Biotechnology. The Placement is average not that popular among the best colleges. Since Biotechnology is more of a research field. There are fewer job opportunities. But there are job opportunities with less salary. Some companies like TCS life Sciences, Omics, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Oriflame etc have offered students jobs ranging from 2.16 LPA to 4 LPA package but it may differ as per student. So getting a core job is a little tough, but you need to have a skill set to get a job.

You haven't mentioned any details of your state and school you are looking for. However, at this point of time, most schools are done with their admission process and stream shifts so you will probably have your chance only next year. In August, it is hard to have vacancy in schools.

In order to be eligible for NIMCET, you will have to secure atleast 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55%marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT for a minimum three year full-time duration from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects ORB.E. / BTech. from a recognized University.

Also, if you have done your BSc with mathematics or statistics as one of the subject which you have already studied then you are eligible for the exam.
