Hi..plz tell me can i replace my accountancy with my optional subject fine arts in my best 4 to get admission in du & if i can then disadva?

kashishjuneja2000_8032841 Student Expert 3rd May, 2019

Hey,

you may change accountancy with fine arts. But if you do so then according to Delhi University rules around 2.5 percentage will be deducted from your best four percentage. So it is recommended not to include fine arts in the calculation of best 4 percentage.

Which category do you belong to?

If general/OBC, you probably will be eligible only for Hindi/Sanskrit Hons, I am afraid.
Maybe South Campus college will be able to provide philosophy etc. But looks a little difficult going by past years' trends.
Do apply for ECA/Sports quota.

At the moment, only Kirori Mal College and Miranda House College of North Campus offers Geography.

In South Campus, there is Dyal Singh, Shaheed Bhagat Singh (morning and evening), Kamala Nehru College, Shivaji and Aditi Mahavidyalaya College.

Priyasha Thapa 2nd May, 2019

Hello!!!

You should individually clear all of your subjects you have chosen to apply for Delhi University. Moreover, English is one of the 5 mains subjects, thus failing in English will lead to rejection of your application if you have already applied.

Aryaman Tewari 2nd May, 2019
Yes, ho sakta hai.
Please clarify which category you belong to.
If you are from any reserved category, and since you are girl, you will have a lot of leverage when it comes to DU cut offs. And you should be comfortably getting into South Campus Colleges.
