Dear Mayank your percentage is too low but you have lots of good private college which offers automobile engineering through entrance exam. Some of the colleges/universities are Lovely Professional University, Amity, Chandigarh University, SRM, VIT, BITS. These are goods colleges which offer automobile engineering. Choose wisely and follow your dream.

Hii.Your marks are good.To get to the private companies like Tata,Maruti-suzuki, Mahindra you should apply for off campus interviews.Some companies will have their own exams and after that they will have GD and PI.So,first you should apply for it and then prepare for the selection procedure.All the best.

What is the best option after gate exan

There are many options after GATE like:

1.M.E/M.Tech from IITs/NITs/IIITs/GFTIs/Other engineering colleges

2.MS/PHD from IITs/NITs

3.PGDM from NITIE Mumbai

4.MS from foriegn universities

5.PSU jobs

6.Private jobs 

Whichever suits you according to situation you can go for that.

All of these options are best .But if you don't have GATE score enough to get these then there is no option.

yes you can pursue for management degree after Mechanical Engineering. Many people pursue for it. Its just that you need to be through with the basic fundamentals of commerce stream subjects especially Micro and Macro Economics, Accountancy. rest all the subject will be fine. If you are dedicated and hard working you will be able to do it.

Yes, automobile engineer are eligible for Mtech thermal in IIT. 

Eligibility for M.Tech in thermal engineering :

Candidate having qualified 10+2 from a recognized educational board with physics, chemistry, mathematics as main subjects and a batchlor degree (B.E/ B.Tech) in any of mechanical, automobile, aeronautical engineering or equivalent discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 55% are eligible to apply for M.Tech thermal engineering courses. This percentage criterion, however may vary across various institute.

Hello Sir. SSN College Of Engineering (SSNCE), established in 1996, is an engineering college located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.The college offers UG and PG courses in the field of Engineering such as B.Tech and M.Tech. It also offers a 3 year MCA course to the students. There are around 780 seats available for UG courses and around 200 seats for PG courses. The B.Tech courses are for 4 years, while the M.Tech courses are for 2 years. The entrance is based upon GATE and TANCET. The probable dates are GATE: February 04, 05, 11 & 12, 2019. Aerospace Engineering is a specialised branch of Engineering which deals with design and development of Aircrafts as well as Space crafts.The course covers both aeronautical and  aestronautical engineering.The course is offered at both UG and PG levels.This Branch of engineering has high demand and have ample opportunities.

No NIT offers Aerospace Engineering.Only IIT's and few colleges in India offer this course.

Automobile Engineering is a 4 years' graduate degree program, the minimum eligibility is 10+2 class with Physics, Chemistry and Math from a recognized school board or its equivalent exam.

To become an automobile engineer, After completing Class 12 from the science stream one must have a BE or B.Tech. in automobile engineering. Even degree holders in electrical or mechanical branch can go in for specialization in automobile engineering at the postgraduate level.
