Hi, If you are asking about salary packages after completing your mechanical engineering and with a month experience then it is not much.
On an average your starting package will be somewhere 3-5 lacs also depends upon the university you study from along with your academic qualification.

Automobile engineering is a subset of mechanical engineering. It's just like on year/semester course. But in some college there is separate branch of automobile. You'll be confined to only automobile and will miss many related mechanical processes.
