Automobile Engineer
Hello,
As for your query, cost of automobile engineering varies with the kind of degree that you are applying for.
If you want to persue B. Tech in automobile engineering, then you can apply through Jee Mains and Advanced for IITs, NITs etc..
Also there are some prestigious private universities too, altogether for B.Tech the complete course fee ranges from 10-15 lakh.
Whereas, one can also take diploma in automobile engineering, the course fee for that ranges from 20k- 2 lakh depending on the place you get diploma from.
Hope this will help.
Thanks
Hey Reshmi,
There are some important core subjects on which you need to focus at very first because during your engineering course you will find it really useful. It includes mathematics- formulaes and methods especially integration and differentiation are very important. Also physics is the main focus during automobile engineering. In physics you need to focus on mechanics part containing fluid mechanics, solid mechanics and its laws. Hope you find it useful.
Thank you.

If you are a mechanical engineer and wish to get a job in the merchant navy, then you can do so by becoming a marine engineer using your mechanical engineering degree. Mechanical and marine engineering courses have several subjects in common and this makes it easier for a mechanical engineer to get an additional degree in marine and open new doors of opportunities.A one year Graduate Marine Engineering (GME) course after mechanical engineering would give students the licence to enter merchant navy.Eligibility criteria:
Some of the prominent institutes offering GME course are:
Hope this helps you with the complete guidance and knowledge for the same.
Hello Aspirant,
Your question lacks proper information required to answer this question. In general no branch or college guarantee you a good salaried job. Everything depends on which college you are as well as your academic as well as your other activities in which you are involved with. To get more specific answer please provide college name as well as branch name in which you are studying or going to study. But jobs are never guaranteed, you have to work for that.
Good Luck !!!
Hi,
Automobile Engineering is a good branch. Check out if good companies come for campus placements at the college you are going to join. Good companies like Toyota, Hundai, Honda, Maruti do recruit engineers. Another option is that you can go for masters in US later and try for companies like Tesla and General Motors.
The best colleges with best placements for any course in India are without any doubt IITs or NITs but for that you need to clear jee mains and advance and score a good rank in the entrance exam. However there are other private colleges too that offers this course though I am mentioning some of the best college's names for this course,
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee
Sathyabama University, Chennai
Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology (HIET), Chennai
Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai
PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore
SCMS School of Engineering and Technology (SSET), Cochin
Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai
SRM University, Chennai
Hope it helps.
Hey,
If you are keen in earning, you can join any automobile companies, or service centers (do not expect any white color job or high remuneration initially) and get minimum two years experience and then jump in to a big auto industries with your knowledge and skill. If you are interested in learning, you can plan for that without any further delay. Automobile sector is fastest growing industries and it is estimated that around 7 to 8 millions of vehicles (light) and 3 to 5 millions of vehicles (heavy motors) by 2022.
Keep updating your core knowledge on regular basis. Only this will help you, no matter where you go.
Automotive sector like the other sectors has changed so drastically that the older technologies are gonna end up in near future.
Develop your skills, level up your knowledge, you can crack it in any field.
I hope, I answered your question.
THANKS!!
