As I can see you have used 'was' in very first line but 'am' is expected there, anyways it will not take much from you to replace 'was' with 'am'. What you have to do is just identify your inner talent because as you have mentioned that your past was dark so learn from the dark past and enjoy your bright future. Any successful person does not think that whether he/she can be at that place where he/she wants to be instead he/she works on his/her dream then only the moment he/she was only able to dream would be achieved. So just believe in yourself and start preparing without thinking of result because whatever the result would be will teach you something and we all knows that "something is far better than nothing".

Dear,
Please control your thoughts first you don't need to worry and please focus on yourself what you like and what you want to do in life.If you have failed then you surely get some experience or lesson from it and one fact is that when we fail more often we learn more but you are taking it negatively you can teach someone if you fail you can do some other work but don't stress yourself as it will only make you weaker you need to be stronger at every point of life no matter what and please make good circle of friends and take help ask for help from where you can get but never over thinking anything.Start your preparation now don't stress make schedule study from bankers adda or adda247 I used this app before and it really has good questions and meanwhile do some part time job for 3-4 hours so that you don't worry about yourself you can start tuitions or you can do other work and side by side continue your preparation with dedication make proper notes.
Thanks
Hello,
If you want to start in a fresh manner, then you have to learnt to develop a positive attitude, you have to count your blessings, starting from your family, the fact that you are in a position in your life where you do have access to education and preparation, there are many who are deprived, so focus on the positive aspects, stay away from negativity, if there is something that drains your energy then stop doing that, for example social media if not handle in proper manner can be big distraction, and remember that everybody has their share of struggles in life, we all have to learn to deal with them , that's the only way to bounce back, changing a habit isn't something that happens overnight , but be consistent, have a positive mindset, do yoga or pranayama, talk to your family or any one close to your if you feel anxious, but most importantly remember it's your life and what you do and don't is entirely upto you.
