The importance of Computer Science/IT cannot be undermined in the current times. This single branch of engineering has undergone a sea change and offers a myriad of career prospects to its students. Lovely Professional University is one of the best universities to pursue B.Tech. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you will study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and company officials vet the syllabus.
Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they provide cybersecurity, IoT, data science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway electives: whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. LPU has industrial tie-ups with numerous organizations for hands-on practical training and certifications in collaborations with the world's top brands.LPU has tied up with top companies to offer industrial training to B.Tech. students at no extra fee. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to their students. If I talk about the placements, the placement preparation is started from the very first year. Students are being given placement-oriented classes and even company-specific input also. Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. The Highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student The highest package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. The highest package was grabbed by a BTech CSE student of LPU, and the offer was made by Google. Ms. Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in WorkIndia at 35 LPA; CLOUDERA at 31 LPA; AMAZON at a package of 30 LPA. An average package ranges from 5-10 LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India. The last is about extra-curricular activities. There is a separate division known as the Division of Student Welfare where there are various clubs that a student can join. Hope this helps!!! Thanks
The Mass Communication course is directly guided by The Times Group. We get the Times benefit that we were promised.
Most of the faculty is from there and thus are well versed with what goes inside the newsroom. Our faculty for Advertising Ms Shruti Jain has headed several advertising projects in various big advertising agencies.
Almost 60% of our course is based on practical work, and theory only takes the rest 40.
Proper equipment is important for studying this course, and the course provides it. They are best you can find on a basic level. Cameras, microphones, lenses, tripods, we are taught to use it all.
The course is set to prepare students for the needs of modern journalism. Courses like Solution Journalism makes the course really interesting with its field trips where we have to do some real journalism. Our University is the only one in India providing that. Why is solution journalism important? It is important because it is the journalism people want media houses to cover. We do stories of human interest. This year we had an assignment on the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan.
I’ll elaborate on how we get the benefits Times promised us. We work on the same Content Management System, the Times group works on. We had several top journalists from the Times Group coming in for guest lectures.
Lastly, I’d like to highlight that we hosted the Femina Miss India Sports Event in our college’s sports complex, and we interacted with them. We got to hold an interview with Mr Pullela Gopichand and Srikant Kidambi, the current world no 1 in the world in badminton.
Hey harsh
There is no specific cut off for admissions but above 75% will get you a seat very comfortably. But if you don't ,you can easily get in paying money.
Bba is good in bennett ,so choose wisely!
Cheers! :)
Hii,i am here to help you according to your query.Well,With fees Beingn higher than Thapar University, being very new and no achievements to boast, Bennett University can't be compared with Thapar University.Bennett University can only be compared with likes of LMNIIT Jaipur or new IIIT's under PPP programme at its best.Thapar is above the league of the likes mentioned, and is generally regarded as second Best private Engineering college in country, only after BITS Pilani- Pilani Campus. It have always be ranked in top thirty and once was in top 10 by NIRF. Presently, it's ranking is increasing year by year.Bennett University, is very new, with no culture and track record to to see. Further, it'sfees is very high and out of the range of middle class of country even after taking loans. TU too has high fees, but there are plenty of scholarships there as my friend has told me and even full fee at TU is less than Bennett's fee.Bennett University, however is working on the path of progress and I believe that it is one other only three private Colleges in NCR region to look upon, other two being BMU and JIIT Noida.
Hope,this information helpful for you.
It completely depends on how you define worth. Before benchmarking or making perceptions about a college or an university, you need to ask yourself that what are your expectations or what exactly are you looking for.
Moreover not all the courses offered by a particular college is good, every college has some or the other flagship courses for which the college is known. So check for specific reviews or mention the course name in the comments section and I shall guide you further.
Hey avinash
Bennett University is becoming one of the most popular and promising destination for higher studies in Delhi NCR region. In its third year, it has all that it takes to be a world-class university. Following are the points which make it different from others:
Due to its backing from Times of India group, there are many industry seniors who come to campus and interact with students. Such kind of interaction help students to understand about the nitty gritty of the real-world business environment. The faculty has years of research and teaching experience, and are very helpful. Many of them are from IITs & IIMs, and carry immense global experience to the classrooms. Studying from such teachers help students to get a global perspective of the subject.
BU’s main standpoint is its focus to imbibe entrepreneurial mindset in the students be it through academics or practical learning. There are two compulsory courses on Entrepreneurship which every student has to study. Students are encouraged to develop their startup ideas right from start to end.
Life here is vibrant and exciting. There is always something or the other happening, which adds colour to campus. Because of its Times of India connection there is no dearth of practical exposure. In all the programs, academic and practical exposure is best in class.
Coming to infrastructure part, the campus can currently accommodate up to 2000 students. The classrooms, academic blocks, corridors, hostels, mess and sports complex is air-conditioned with all modern amenities present. Labs have sophisticated equipments providing opportunity to students to experiment and learn in best of environment. The campus is developing at a very fast speed with best of facilities.
This is just a start. I am sure BU in no time will rank in top universities across India.
