Bennett University, Greater Noida
Hii
SRM is better option obiviously than bennett university.
SRM is full flourished institutes with better facilities in form of faculty, labs, research option, higher study, alumini network etc.
Although it is expensive but is worth money in case you are unable to reach premier institute like NITs/IIITs/CFTIs.
So, try for NITs, if unable can go for SRM over bennett.
Hope it helps

Dear,
The course is directly guided by The Times Group. They get the Times benefit. Most of the faculty is from there and thus are well versed with what goes inside the newsroom. Almost 60% of our course is based on practical work, and theory only takes the rest 40.
Well, Bennett University is one of the best choices for a career in mass communication and journalism. The exposure given to the students is truly amazing. They help you to develop the skills required in the various mediums. The teaching pattern is quite different from other colleges; the ratio of practical and theoretical is 70% - 30% respectively. Total fees is 9.6 lakh for 3 years.
Hope this helps.
Through CSE you are becoming an overall Computer Science engineer. You are not making any compromise in terms of any specialisation. So, from the 2nd year on wards only, you choose a specialisation otherwise everybody will get a degree in computer science engineering but based on your interest from the 2nd year on wards, you will be choosing one of the six specialisations and you will be doing your elective courses in these particular specialisations. You will be having the double advantage that you will not be compromising on your basic computer science foundations and core areas and you are also getting one specialised area so that you will be equipped with the latest requirements of the industry. So you are getting both of these things.
You can opt for AI at the masters level also. Bennett university has a lot much to offer. There is a research lab on AI, IIT, PhD faculty who are experts in AI so Bennett CSE combined with AI specialisation at undergraduate level really prepares you for a career in AI and also you can go for masters sin AI in top schools in the world.
Dr. Deepak Garg (Prof. & HOD, Bennett University)
Students of Bennett University from the foundation batch which are passing out are having good offers from universities in UK, US and many european countries so the reason for that has been that their grooming has been such and their personalities have been developed to the level that universities from abroad are ready to accept them. So instead of banking upon the university level tie ups the university is more focused on preparing UG students to a level that they are good to go to any university. So when the universities take interviews or see the projects of students or the Undergraduate research they have done as most UG students do undergraduate research. Some students have written research papers in top class journals means they are good to go to any universities so they choose universities, the universities do not choose them.
Motto of the university is to prepare students to a level so they can go to any universities for masters. In terms of facilities, the university has tie up with industries and industry specific labs which are one of the top differentiators. There is apple imac lab in collaboration with apple, dell emc lab for data science, etc. Another differentiator is the faculty. Almost all of them are PhD from top IITs and universities outside. University is very much focused on having quality faculties. All the details about the faculties are available on the website for students to check and make a wise decision.
CSE course structure at Bennett University has been revised every year depending on the requirement of the industry & the changing technology. Currently Bennett University course curriculum adheres to the National regualations & also adheres to the International standards given by ACMI EEE task force & also Abet Accreditation. The first semester is common accross all the engineering branches which covers programming, Physics, Mathematics & other basic Sciences & Engineering Sciences then the second semester you go for more on programming languages, second programming languages. You also get more basic courses in Computer Science, In University Curriculum, We teach Java, Python & C++ as the programming language which students should be versed with. We are covering almost 85% of Industry requirement then second year in third & four semester are full with the core courses of Computer Science so that the only major focus whether it is operating system whether it is data base Management whether it is software Engineering so all these courses student find in second year. Once you are done with the core courses in Computer Science then third year is more about specialized courses & more about elective courses so the candidates have to get more choice, It's student depending on where interest they have. And then the seven semester is purly based on open electives & Electives and candidates do a Capstone project which is very large project where they use all their skill learnt in last three years and final semester is where you go for a project semester either in the Industry or in a research Organization or you do inhouse based on your interest. The university also have the option for hons degree if the candidates can do four additional courses then they can also earn hons degree but that is only advisable to the students who can do extra study apart from the regular curriculum The University also have the option of minor degree courses where students can choose minor courses from other engineering branches where again you need to do four additional courses & you can earn Minor degree also so the other branches students can also do Minor in AI in Computer Science. Computer Science students can do minor in electronic & minor in Mechanical or biotechnology.
As of now there is no changes in admission cycle so the university semester will be starting by mid of August.
