This mainly comes down to your interest.

Comparing the colleges, both colleges are decent in their own aspects.

NIT Meghalaya is relatively newer, however being an NIT, you will be receiving good academics and placements there.

Bennett Uni. is also not behind in terms of infrastructure, decent academics, etc.

So, basically it comes down to your interest, whether you want to pursue CSE or you have interest in ECE subjects.

You could google some reviews about both colleges to get a better idea about it.

Both GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Bennet University are good and well-reputed colleges for pursuing your career in B. tech. The faculty at both the college is pretty good and you won't complain about it. The main thing about comparing 2 colleges are placements and quite frankly, the placement score of Bennet University is a lot better as compared to GLBIT. Companies like Intel, Tata, Foodpanda, H&M, Hindustan Unilever Limited, etc. visit the campus regularly.

AS a university, obviously, GL  Bajaj  is a college, whereas Bennett is a complete university ,

but I think you are asking for BTech,

Bennett offers you 100% placement.

but it all depends on you, whether you live near Bennett university .or near gl BAJAJ

Both the colleges are good in their own way. 

You should according to your need and expectations from the college. 

Here i am making the comparison between the two colleges. 

BENNETT UNIVERSITY : 

There is no good placement record in the college as it had started two years back, but placements are expected to be  great in the next few years(2020_2022). There is a placement career management staff to take care of everything regarding placements. I hope placements will be very good in future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Their maintenance is also good.

Thapar University:

The University is not affordable, its very expensive .The fee structure is on the expensive side at Thapar University.

The placement at the campus is good.

The hostels are good. The University has 12 hostels.

The faculty team available is generally doctorate-qualified and is well-versed with the subject they teach. They usually give knowledge about the latest technology which we are working with and some extra knowledge too.

bennett university is a really great college. The average package is around 7.5 lakhs per annum. The highest package is around 9.5 lakhs per annum. The college also provides internship opportunities to the students. Companies like kotak MAHINDRA Bank, yes bank, axis bank,etc visit the campus for recruitment.
