I have completed my 12th from bihar as permanent address and completed Graduation from West bengal.I clear government job in bihar as a Domicile of bihar under ews reservation. Should I worry about it

Lalbee 12th Feb, 2024

Hello Aspirant,

In concept, subject to the particular qualifying requirements of the institution, you should be able to utilise a valid EWS certificate issued by the Bihar government to claim reservation benefits in any government or public sector institution in India.

It is usually a good idea, nevertheless, to confirm the eligibility conditions and particulars of the organisation you are applying to. To find out if it accepts EWS certificates from other states or if there are any special criteria for EWS certificate holders, you may get in touch with their recruiting department or visit their official website.

sairamdash67 1st Feb, 2024

Hy Abhishek Kumar,

Yes, you can definitely use your Bihar caste certificate . If validity is procured and in some cases, u need to have NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate, then the state castes are considered. For JEE they generally consider SC, ST & OBC.

Thanks,

is mht cet worth for non Maharashtrian student? like can we get into main colleges

Shambhavi shambhavi 12th Dec, 2024

MHT CET is open to non-Maharashtrian students, but the chances of getting into top colleges can be more competitive due to limited seats for out-of-state students. You can still get into good colleges, but you might need to score higher in the exam, especially for popular courses and institutions. Additionally, the fee structure for non-Maharashtrian students can be higher. To maximize your chances, aim for a strong score and review the specific eligibility criteria for each college.

I am a domicile of west bengal. Can I use my Bihar Caste Certificate in jee mains.

Tanya Gupta 25th Feb, 2024

Hello,

As a domicile of West Bengal, you typically need to use a caste certificate issued by the competent authority in West Bengal for JEE Mains. Using a Bihar caste certificate may not be valid unless there are specific provisions allowing it. It's essential to review the eligibility criteria and documentation requirements specified by the exam conducting authorities or the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

I have scored 62.25 in CLAT -24.My AIR is 17691,All India OBC Rank is 2963,EBC rank 100,W-BC rank 227.I have domicile of Bihar. Can I get admission into any NLU?

Mahak Yadav 16th Dec, 2024

With a CLAT score of 62.25 , AIR 17691 , and OBC rank of 2963 , it is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission into top National Law Universities (NLUs) , as their cutoffs are typically much higher, even for the OBC category. Additionally, considering your score and rank, securing a seat in well-established NLUs, including those that offer domicile-based reservations, would be very difficult. As of the current trends, it is not possible for you to gain admission to a top NLU with this rank. However, you can explore options in private law universities or consider taking the exam again to improve your rank.
