The Placement and Training Cell was established during the year 2004. The very first batch of graduated students were placed from the campus in 2005-06. The PT Cell is fully sustained and provides complete placement solutions to the students of the institute and BMSIT&M has a good placement track record among the top ranked engineering colleges in Bengaluru.The average package offered in 2022 at BMS Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore is 7,80,000.
14 of its Departments are recognized as Research Centers offering PhD/M.Sc (Engineering by Research) degrees in Science, Engineering and Management. The College has been effectively practising outcome based education. The College has one of the largest student populations amongst engineering colleges in Karnataka. Currently about 5000 students are pursuing their higher studies in BMSCE.
For MCA, the candidates should qualify anyone of the following examinations: Post Graduate Common Entrance Test, Karnataka (PGCET).
Further, shortlisted candidates have to appear for an interview for the final selection.
