is that good to take botany and english for geology honours? if no then what combination is good for geology honours

Shamik Debnath 6th Sep, 2021

Hiii

The two courses are acceptable. Many individuals don't know about Geology Hons and it has the two perspectives. It's accessible in not very many universities Hansraj being the prominent and classes are generally held in the Faculty of Geology and very little in school. Exceptionally less understudies apply for it so less rivalry however a decent choice in case you are intrigued. English Hons gets part of consideration alongside the Competition. More freedoms likewise accompany that. All the very best!

main geology ke sath botany and english liya hai per kya mujhe physics and chemistry lena chahiye tha? i mean aage jake mujhe koi problem toh nhi hoga na kisika form bharme mai, ya fir mujhe change kra lena chahiye?please clear my confusen.

Purbayan Chatterjee 7th Sep, 2021

Hi Srishti,

Hope you are doing fine. Considering the fact you have taken Botany and English with Geology, there are ample career options in this domain. However, definitely had you taken Physics and Chemistry instead, you would have had a wider choice criteria. If you want to remain eligible for almost all the exams, you might want to change your subjects.

However, with the choice of current subjects, you still have many career paths open.

Hope this helps.

suchayitaanusaha 31st Aug, 2021

Hello,

You are pursuing BSC in botany which is plant related study. And MSc in virology is the virus related, microbe related study. Both are totally different.

But yes, you can pursue MSc in virology. But I'll suggest that you can take biotechnology. It's very easy to your previous studies. And in future so many scopes available in biotechnology. Now it's totally depends on you .

For admission in MSc in virology you have to give pg entrance examination for state wise or you can give college entrance examination. You have to choose the college then you can prepare for examination. And check the college criteria.

I am not that much up to the mark in taking thin sections of plant in a laboratory. so I am grtting affraid of it. can I eligible tobbecome good lecturer in botany

Supriya Omi 30th Aug, 2021
Hello there!
First of all relax. Its fine if you haven't been able to score marks lately, you can score it by constant learning and following a good study routine.
For becoming lecturer, you need to clear NET. So kindly prepare for that.
Study well and don't get panic if you aren't able to score well which could be because of over stressing and over working.
Do quick exercises and learn well.
Good Luck!
