hi,this is Tanmoy, and i am a sc student,so i got 34 in biology in 12th , for can not giving this sub exam properly for some health problem,bt my over all percentage PCB 46% ,am i elegible for neet. is it mandetory that studen should have passed each subject for neet eligibility ??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Sep, 2020

Tanmoy, to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. This 40% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 40% in Physics, 40% in Chemistry and 40% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 40% as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. With 46% as an aggregate, you are eligible for NEET.

I am from Delhi my schooling is also from Delhi bt my obc is from UP. is it valid for IP University

Dinesh nehra 21st Oct, 2020

Generally they ask for obc central government certificate not state government certificate so try to make obc central government certificate from SDM which is useful for you.if your schooling is from Delhi then you will also get benefit of home state couta.do not be panic make a central level from your domicile state from tehsil through SDM officer and apply this when admission/counseling authorities asked for this.

Aryan 9th Sep, 2020

No, It will not create any issue. The best marks will be the scored marks as Best of 2 will be considered.

Your Percentile based on category is: 95.2 - 95.4

Your Overall Percentile is: 85.65 - 85.85

Your Rank based on category is: 1425 - 3075

Your Predicted Rank is: 130248 - 162398

I will recommend you to check All The Colleges, That is available for You on basis of your rankings and Reservation, Then You can also check that at Our JEE MAINS COLLEGE Predictor. That will be very helpful for You.

I didnt mentioned ews in jan attempt of jee mains..bt i mentioned in sept attempt, so if my rank didnt improve and i need to consider my jan percentile then, would my ews would be counted...i m very worried.

Suvangi Pathy 8th Sep, 2020
Hello aspirant, your percentile doesn't depend on your category. If you have mentioned your category in Sept session then it will be taken into account .Based on your best percentile out of jee main 1 and 2 you will be alloted an All India Rank as well as an EWS rank.So you need not worry,if your jee main1 percentile will be your final percentile then based on that percentile you will get your AIR and category rank.
Hope this helps!

i have 70% marks in PCB and english in my 12th bt i have got statutory marks for passing mathematics. will this effect me during my admission in mbbs college in case i qualify neet

arkathestar 30th Aug, 2020
Hello!
I hope you are doing well in this tough times.
As per question, you don't have to worry witht your Mathematics marks. You are eligible for NEET examination only if you have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in PCB for OBC, SC and ST categories , 45 % aggregate in PCB for PWD category.
Hope this helps you.
All the best for your future endeavours.

Arkajit Das 27th Aug, 2020

Hello Jayesh,

Lets see whatever I know about my some friends past experience you have just mail NTA about your correction and it will be all right don't panic they will correct it.

and your another question answer is may be it's not create problem during the counselling process. If you got the medical college then at the time of counselling you can easily correct this only just need an affidavit regarding your correction.

I hope the answer was helpful for you. Best of luck.
