my jee rank 590000 can I join your college

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 21st Jan, 2020
Hello.
As you didn't mention branch where you are willing to have admission so I am considering  for all branch now you have 590000 rank but as per the previous year records for having admission in faculty of engineering Chandigarh grp of  colleges you need to have rank under 600k (for all avilable branch) but this rank is on the basis of previous year records which may variate with some fluctuations so you are on the border line that means you have very degraded chances of admission .
Best of luck

My brother got NTA score As 32.6278647 in JEE 2020. Is there any chance that he may get any private engineering college in UP ? He is from Gen category.

ruchika.chauhan Expert 18th Jan, 2020

Hello

With 32.6278647 percentile score, chances seem to be less of getting a seat in engineering colleges. Your brother should work hard and prepare well for the JEE Main April session and aim to improve the scores to get a seat in any good engineering college.

All the Best!

Whats the general cutoff of jee mains

SAKSHI KULSHRESHTHA 18th Jan, 2020

Sameer, the cutoff of JEE Mains will be released along with the final results once the April session is conducted. The January session result only contains the score and percentile of the candidates. Once the April session's result is announced, NTA will also announce the category wise qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced. It will be displayed on the result portal.

The cutoff percentile is expected to change every year depending on the number of seats available and the number of students appearing. While it is difficult to predict the exact qualifying cutoff, a percentile of 85 or above is decent enough to qualify for JEE Advanced. You can also go through the previous years' cutoff to get an idea. In 2019, the NTA score cutoff for the Common Rank List was 89.7548849

what are the qualifications required to take admission for btech in cse branch

Harshita Gupta 30th Dec, 2019
Hey,
The eligibility criteria for getting admission in BTech is that you must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from science stream with mathematics, physics, and English as compulsory subjects and  minimum required percentage (usually 50%). Then, you will have to qualify in JEE mains and advanced to get admission in desired College.
  • First find out which college you want to get admission in.
  • Then check the previous year cutoff for those colleges and prepare accordingly.
Many colleges also conduct their own entrance examination. It is a 4 years undergraduate course. You can get admission in various IITs, NITs and top colleges.

Hope this helps!

plzz tell me about the total fees structure of college of 1. semester

Naufal Mohamed 24th Dec, 2019
It depends from college to college and from course to course. Usually in case of government institutes like NIT's and IIT's, the fee is around 60000 rupees per semester. This fee also varies for different categories.

Incase of private institutes this fee is usually the same or higher (again, it varies for different colleges).

If you are lucky enough, you might even get to study for free.
