Dear applicant to clear the prelims exam of UPSC there is are few compulsory subjects which require your utmost attention like History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, General Science which includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics etc. But yes for general science you don't need years of practice of Science but only require your 10th knowledge for the betterment of the subjects. Now overall one thing to be made clear if you really wish to score well thn you should possess strong grip on the different concepts as well.
Good luck!!!
Hello
If you are weak in Physics, Math, and Chemistry and want to pursue career in computer science then I would like to inform you that you not pursue it from government colleges because government colleges have high competition with very less seats but yes you can pursue it from various private college. And also at least having Basic knowledge of Mathematics subject is required for this course.
Thanks
If you are from a chemistry background then you can choose the GATE Chemistry paper as the paper to attempt. As a sub category choosing Chemical Engineering as a sub category will be a more convenient choice over Life Science.

Dear student,
As far as your problem is concerned I would say that whatever has been taught in class kindly revise it after coming back to home everyday or atleast give it a look or reading. On the other hand you are having backlogs then everyday try to complete atleast some part of your backlog even a little part will give you satisfaction at night when you will complete it.
