Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology, Durg
Hi Sourabh
IT generally focuses on the real world application of computer knowledge i.e. it is mostly focused on software part.
Computer Science as the name suggests is the Science behind computer application, it is more related to innovation rather than just application.
Even if you see the placements CSE has better placement records than IT but I'm not saying CSE is always better , it doesn't matter what branch you are from as long as you work hard, focus and innovate.
That is what the companies see in people and not the branch that you are from. Generally, CSE records are better because they have grown habitual to thinking in that way.
Hope this information helps you!
Cvr is better college taking placements as the major consideration.CVR college students are getting very good packages from last three years and in 2019 highest package was around 25 lakhs per annum, where as Snist students highest package is only around 15lakhs per annum.
Snist encourages you alot for participating in all technical and non technical events. And campus view of sreenidhi is very beautiful.
CVR is the best college for you if you are a studious person and if you consider from studies point of view.
CVR is better if you consider placements ,faculty teaching, academics, sports, environment of the college ,placements cell(training for the placements)
Dear aspirant, cse in vnr is a better choice than cait in CVR. The things due to which vnr is better considered because-
Apart from the academics, the all over development of a student is emphasized. Enhancing skills and utilizing potential to the fullest is also considered. Considering the placement, Tech giants such as TCS,Microsoft,Amazon,Adobe,Deloitte,Accenture,Capgemini and a lot more visit the campus. VNR has the best sports complex and also This college encourages a lot of extra curricular activities such as literature, dance, music, short films directing, painting, photography and a lot more.
Hope this helps.
Hi Aspirant,
KIET, Ghaziabad is one of the best colleges of APJAKTU and is much better than some govt. colleges of UP. Specially mentioning the CS department, it is one of the best branches in this college.
Due to the NCR location, several Start-ups and big companies visited the campus and offered handsome package. Moreover, the environment of the CS department is very favorable in KIET.
Hope the information answers your query.

Hi aspirant,
CSE or Computer Science Engineering is considered to be the core branch of computers. It consists of learning programming languages and computer networking. This course gives deep knowledge about computers in almost every aspects. It also involves learning computer language like binary codes and logic gates. It includes both hardware and software related ideas. This is the most common course offered by most of the colleges.
CSIT or Computer Science and Information technology is considered to be a sub branch of CSE. It has similar subjects and curriculum as CSE. This course is more about software than hardware though. Subjects like machine learning, Artificial Intelligence are involved in this course.
Career opportunities are higher for CSE than CSIT. As, most of the companies prefer a student with CSE background since they have more depth about systems both hardware as well as software. So, I would recommend you to take CSE since even I am pursuing the same course currently and it is really good.
