See, you have got only 3% less for 60% in 12th boards but for AIIMS, an OBC candidate should have minimum aggregate of the marks in (english+physics+chemistry+biology) is 60%. So, why not give exam for any (one or two) of the subjects instead of all the subjects(12th again).

The placement eligiblity depends from company to company. But nowadays almost all companies allow students only with more than 60% in class 10 and 12th. And the college authorities can't do anything in these matters.
