Because nearly all the colleges give admission on basis of the jee mains ranks.
Hecan go in near by college ( like city colleges ) ; which give admission on basis of 12 th marks.

At this rank, getting a CSE branch is impossible in top notch NIT's. Generaly CSE branch get closed around 6k for general category.
Most likeable NIT's are
1. NIT Agartala
2. NIT Silchar
3. NIT Srinagar
But I won't recommend you to join these lower NIT's. As most lower NIT's
kindl tell the total % deduction ( change of stream as well as taking music as 4th sub)
