Class 12th Percentage is not considered while allotment of seat at any of the college of GGSIPU. You have a decent chance to make it to one of the following college of GGSIPU; 

1. Delhi Institute of Rural Development

2.Delhi Institute of Metropolitan Studies

3.Chander Prabhu Jain College

Hi Aspirant

The 1000 marks that you are talking about are aggregated marks of class 11 and 12. But for JOSAA counseling you just need to provide class 12 marks and not class 11 marks. 

So just calculate and enter your class 12 marks in the counseling process.

Hey Aspirant, You need not to worry as there are many colleges which provide journalism and mass communication course and you can apply there. Not qualifying in one does not mean the end of education. You can still apply and get admission in several university.
