A good college for ECE, CSE and ISE branch is also good.

You can gain a good knowledge in training and placement and the college is absolutely satisfactory.

Nearly 95% of students can be placed in campus placements. There are nearly 80 companies both national and international, visit the college for campus placements to hire the students. A few companies are IBM, Infosys, Dell, Amazon and many more. One of seniors got placed in IBM with the package of 8 LPA. The highest package offered was nearly 20 LPA, and the least was of 4 LPA.

The environment of the college campus is really very good, which is filled with greenery and open space lawns. The labs are excellent and the maintenance is very good. The Wi-Fi facility provided in the hostel is only for a limited period of time i.e., till 11:00 pm every day.

The faculty is very good and the professors are highly qualified and the entire staff stays till evening i.e., till 4:30 pm. The course curriculum is very useful and worth it. The teachers qualify each and every doubt and the teaching methods are really very interesting to the students.

According to your request i have mentioned last year Chikka Muniyappa Reddy Institution of Technology (CMRIT), Bangalore the cutoff its first round, second round and third round counselling cutoff are 8275, 10093 and  34469 respectively. CMRIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

You have very good chances of getting Information Technology branch in CMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY - [CMRIT], BANGALORE college.

As per the previous year cutoffs , you should get it in round 2 or latest by round 3.

Don`t worry , you`ll get it for sure.

Hey Sam! You will definitely get EC or ISE branch in CMRIT but for the seat with your score you have to wait until 3rd round of counselling. You won't be getting CMRIT seat in first round of counselling. Based on various  surveys and student reviews and also in terms of placements and faculties, NMIT stands before CMRIT. Which means that any branch in NMIT ,may it be cse or ece will fetch you job! Also NMIT happens to be among the top 15 engineering colleges of karnataka  whereas CMRIT comes within top 20. So good luck!

Placements wise, I would recommend the following:

DSATM, CMRIT, and Reva.

I wouldn't recommend Reva as their intake is 3,000+ and difficult to get placed.

CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore is one of the top engineering colleges in Karnataka established in 2013. It is quite reasonable with its fee structure as well. The total annual fee (excluding mess and hostel charges) for B.Tech in Information technology is around 2.05 Lakhs which includes examination fee. It provides you a suitable environment with a decent infrastructure as well. 

AKASH, it seems very difficult for you to get CSE in CMRIT under KCET. This is based on your rank and previous year cutoffs. The branch closes off at 8k.

But again it depends on the number of students who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper.
