CMR institute of technology is good for ECE. If we look infrastructure wise than its is very good. Faculty is experienced with full smart classrooms. Also most important is placement so placement of this college is very good for ECE branch. 95% student almost get placed every year and companies like Amazon, cognizent, L&T visit every year for recruitment of students.

So overall it's good. If you are thinking of taking admission than go for it.

If you are a general candidate without having any sort of reservations you should get atleast a rank below 1500 in VCI counselling process where applied student's are ranked based on NEET mark . Each year there are slight variations. Anyway you can expect a seat if you have scored above 525 marks or rank below 20k in Neet.

As per the last year cutoffs and counseling process rounds you have scored not well enough for get selected collages but you can apply in private institutions  Good luck 

MRCET is rated higher than the others if you see the rankings of the colleges but I would advise you to go check the college, ask seniors and check student forums also. Check the fees, infrastructure, placement reports also before you make your decision. All the best
